These classes are very affordable, and are a great way to start to explore or establish an interest in the instrument. They are also a great option for hobbyists or music enthusiasts or who want gentle-paced lessons.
Blended piano is a 12-week course designed to introduce adults and children aged 7 and above, to the fundamentals of piano and notation.
Students meet with their coach every two weeks. Inbetween lessons, they access our digital academy and complete tutorials and assignments which is submitted to the coach. The students are also able to ask for help at any time on the academy.
Students meet with tehir coach at any of our centres or online.
Students must have a piano or keyboard, and an internet enabled device to access their learning resources. All learning resources are included in the fee.
Our most popular option, students take weekly small group classes on specific instruments or subjects with 24/7 access to our online academy.
Classes meet in any of our centres or online. Students get 12 lessons per term and 36 weeks per annum. Students follow our graded piano curriculum and have the option to prepare for, and sit international music exams on completion of each level.
Students also enjoy personalised progress tracking and reporting, complimentary access to a range of additional classes and resources as well as special events such as workshops, concerts, competitions, exhibitions and more.
Many students choose to sign up for multiple small group classes to suit their learning goals - e.g. piano and music theory or piano and singing classes or piano, guitar and voice classes.
Children taking private lessons receive a bespoke music learning experience that is tailored to their individual learning goals. Private students take lessons either on a 1:1 basis or as a blend of both small group and 1:1 lesson formats. Private students commit to 42 weeks tuition per annumn which is taken as 36 weeks term time and 6 weeks of holiday lessons.
Students also get termly progress reports, complimentary access to a range of additional resources as well as complimentary access to events such as workshops, concerts and some competitions.
Bespoke music classes designed for children with additional needs. Lessons comprise of a wide variety of activities tailored to the needs of the participants.
Classes may include the use of the Soundbeam where appropriate - for instance, children with physical or motor disabilities.
1:1 lessons with a personalised learning plan delivered to a flexible schedule. Perfect forchildren in boarding school who are unable to follow a weekly schedule.
Self-paced, online courses, taken on a self-directed basis. Students have 24/7 access to their chosen course for a specific period of time, after which access can be renewed if needed. Students have the option to schedule 1:1 coaching sessions or submit homework for feedback as and when needed for an additional fee.
For learners who have had lessons prior to joining KMC, we recommend an initial 1:1 assessment with a skilled coach in order to determine the appropriate level at which to commence lessons with us. A written report will be provided following the assessment complete with recommendations and the assessment fee will be deducted off the first term's fee on sign up.
