Classical Piano Lessons for Children Aged 7 and Above

Everyone should have an opportunity to learn music, regardless of their ability to pay.  By adopting a tech-enabled curriculum, we are able to offer a variety of tuition options that make music learning affordable and accessible to more people than would otherwise be the case.

We offer small group, private and self-study  piano lessons to suit the needs of our students.   

Each piano lesson option is described below.  

Small Group, Classical Piano and Music Theory Classes

Lessons also incorporate classical music theory, where the children get to both read and write music using Western staff notation. This is a great option for children who wish to sit graded classical music exams.

Classes meet in any of our centres or online.   Students get 12 lessons per term and 36 weeks per annum.  Students follow our graded, classical piano curriculum and have the option to prepare for, and sit international music exams on completion of each level.  

Students also enjoy personalised progress tracking and reporting, complimentary access to a range of additional classes and resources as well as special events such as workshops, concerts, competitions, exhibitions and more.

The small group classical piano package includes:
- 12 x group lessons per term
- Option to sign up for a music club at half price
- Option to make up missed lessons for an additional fee

Private Classical Piano and Music Theory Lessons

Children taking private lessons  receive a bespoke music learning experience that is tailored to their individual learning goals. Private students can choose to take lessons either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.  

Private students package incldues:

- 12 private or small group lessons per term
- 12 complimentary music club lessons per term
- Flexible scheduling & up to 2 complimentary make up lessons per term

Self-Study Classical Piano Courses With Optional Tutor Support

Our self-paced, online courses, taken on a self-study basis. Students have 24/7 access to their chosen course for a period of six months at a time, after which access can be renewed if needed.  

The courses include downloadable handouts, video tutorials and audio files designed to give learners a rich music learning experience.

Students have  the option to schedule 2 x 1:1 coaching sessions during their enrolment period and may submit homework for feedback for an additional fee.  

Fee per term:
N33,000 / £50 / $65  per course without homework
N66,000 / £100 / $130 per course with access to the homework portal for feedback and 2 x live coaching sessions per course

For learners who have had lessons prior to joining KMC, we recommend an initial 1:1 assessment with a skilled coach in order to determine the appropriate level at which to commence lessons with us.  A written report will be provided following the assessment complete with recommendations and the assessment fee will be deducted off the first term's fee on sign up.
