Teacher Training Course – AISOM (Ed)

This is a dynamic and flexible qualification built for both aspiring and current educators. This course provides a robust foundation in teaching theory combined with practical classroom strategies.

Target Audience: Aspiring teachers, current educators looking to refine skills, and teachers new to music education.

Key Content: Includes lesson planning, curriculum development, behavior management, safeguarding, and Special Educational Needs (SEND).

Format: Taught over two semesters with a blend of weekly 60-minute live (synchronous) sessions and self-paced (asynchronous) resources.  

Montessori Music Educator Certificate (MMECert)

The world’s only program specifically designed to train music educators in the Montessori approach, endorsed by Montessori Global Education through their STAR Framework.

Target Audience: Music teachers, Montessori teachers, and education professionals.    

Key Content: Focuses on the "Prepared Classroom," observation techniques, and fostering independence through music.  

Specialization: Sets you apart as a specialist in early years education — a field of high demand.

Routes to Qualifications

This suits independent candidates who have no requirement for training or employment. You pay your course fees and complete the lectures and assignments to gain your qualification.

Train to Teach Route:

This route comes with a bursary of up to 100% for candidates who are successful in gaining employment with KMC under the Train to Teach Music scheme. After completing a minimum of two years of on-the-job training, candidates will be enrolled on the course of their choice with the financial support of the company.
