This course features a conversation with parents from two different families who intentionally chose to give their children music lessons and who attribute their subsequent academic success to the skills and disciplines they developed through music study.

They share their experiences as music parents, what they wished they had done differently and offer tips for parents who are looking to embark on the music parenting journey.

It also includes articles, videos and research papers into the many ways in which music learning impacts brain function.
